Produced in the Fall of 1996, these classic turnlock earrings are adorned with blown glass teardrop pearls, a hallmark of Coco Chanel's influence on fashion. The linked CC's of Chanel's trademark were inspired by the interlocking arcs of the abbey's stained-glass windows in the convent of Aubazine where Chanel grew up and was popularized by Karl Lagerfeld in the 1980s.
